Yes. Instapic provides photo booth hire across Edinburgh and the wider Lothians, including city venues, hotels, castles, country houses and purpose-built wedding venues.

Yes. We use genuine Instapic event photography and only connect venue-specific setup claims to places where we have verified first-hand history.

How do I check availability for an Edinburgh event?

How much is Instapic Photo Booth hire?

Current guide prices are £269 for 2 hours, £299 for 3 hours, £349 for 4 hours and £399 for 5 hours. Your final quote is confirmed for the date, venue, access and any wider package.

What size is the Photo Booth?

The booth itself measures approximately 2.4m long × 1.8m wide × 2.2m high. Extra clear space is needed for the printer, attendant, props, entrance and guest queue.

What power does the Photo Booth need?

A suitable mains power point is required within 10 metres of the booth. We confirm the final position with the venue before setup.

How long does the Photo Booth take to set up?

A normal planning allowance is around 30–45 minutes before the booked start time, although difficult access or a larger combined Instapic setup can require a different access window.

Are prints included?

Yes. The current standard experience includes unlimited single-print sessions during the booked hire period, along with a personalised template, props and an attendant.

Are digital copies supplied?

Instapic uses a post-event client gallery for event photographs. Gallery access and download options can vary by event package, so the final arrangement is confirmed with the booking contact.

How many people fit in the booth?

Small groups can use the booth together, but Instapic does not promise a fixed headcount because adults, children, mobility needs and comfort vary. For very large group photographs, the open-format Magic Mirror is usually the easier option.

Can the print design be personalised?

Yes. A personalised photo template is included in the current standard Photo Booth experience.

Is the Photo Booth staffed?

Yes. A friendly Instapic attendant is included for the booked hire period.

Can the Photo Booth be used outdoors?

Outdoor use must be agreed in advance. The equipment needs a safe, dry, level and weather-protected position with suitable power.
